Indications

• intravesical therapy of BCG- refractory carcinoma in situ of the urinary bladder where cystectomy not an option

Dosage

• 800 mg intravesically once a week for 6 weeks
• use four 5 mL single use vial 40 mg/mL (800 mg)
• dilute with 55 mL normal saline to a volume of 75 mL

Adverse-effects

• urinary symptoms

• urinary frequency, urgency
• dysuria
• urinary incontinence
• hematuria
