Indications

• flank pain
• suspected kidney stones
• hematuria
• suspected obstructive uropathy
• suspected congenital anomaly

Procedure

• radiographic imaging of any part or the urinary tract ( kidneys, ureters, bladder) after injection of contrast

Notes

• also see intravenous pyelography
