Indications

• experimental agent for metastatic melanoma

Dosage

• once a month dosing (phase 2 trials)
• 15 mg/kg every 3 months selected for further clinical testing

Adverse-effects

• diarrhea, rash, prutitis

Mechanism-of-action

• blocks cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 ( CTLA4)
