Indications

• medication may have properties of dependence

• opiates
• benzodiazepines
• barbiturates
• glucocorticoids

• may be rebound effects from discontinuing medication

• rebound hypertension with

• alpha-2 adrenergic agonists

• clonidine >> guanfacine, tizanidine

• beta-blockers

• other effects (see drug adverse effects of ...)

• antidepressants [2]

• fluoxetine may be exception because of long 1/2life

• anticonvulsants [2]
• baclofen [2]
• tramadol [2]
• antipsychotics [2]
• carisoprodol ( Soma) [2]
