Introduction

• Body fluid secreted by the seminal vesicles.

Function

• contains spermatozoa that can fertilize an oocyte to produce a diploid zygote (both spermatoza & oocytes are haploid)

Subunits

• contains spermatozoa
• other components promote survival of spermatozoa & provide a media in which they can swim

• fructose
• proteases & other emzymes
