Resonance

Introduction

• An intensification of vibration or oscillation by an applied stimulus at the natural frequency of the system. The system may be molecular (i.e. magnetic resonance) or macroscopic (i.e. anatomical resonating chambers {mouth, nasal cavity, lung}).
