Indications

• macular degeneration Intavitreal injection of 0.3-0.5 mg monthly

Adverse-effects

• endophthalmitis

Mechanism-of-action

• angiogenesis inhibitor, binds to VEGF

Notes

• cost $2000/0.5 mg dose
