Indications

• chemotherapy for advanced renal cell carcinoma

Monitor

• liver function tests ( serum ALT, serum bilirubin) at baseline, at least every 4 weeks for the 1st 4 months, then periodically [2]

Drug-interactions

• inbibits CYP2C8, CYP2D6 & CYP3A4

Mechanism-of-action

• protein kinase inhibitor
