Dosage

• doses at 0, 1 & 2-6 months
• booster at 12 months & yearly therafter

Pharmacokinetics

• 50% effective after 2nd dose
• 78% effective after 3rd dose

Adverse-effects

• arthritis
• muscle pain

Mechanism-of-action

• stimulation of antibody production that work in the gut of the offending tick
• contains synthetic form of OspA protein
