Indications

• prevention of fatty acid deficiency in patients on parenteral nutrition

Contraindications

• pregnancy-category C
• safety in lactation ?

Dosage

• 100 mL contains:

• 10 (10%) or 20 (20%) g of soybean oil
• up to 1.2 g of egg phosphatides

• pH: 8.3
• sp. gr: 0.995 (10%), 0.988 (20%)
• 1.1 (10%) or 2 (20%) Kcal/ mL
• Solution: 500 mL.
