Introduction

  • Tradename: Lamictal.

Indications

Contraindications

  • Caution:
  • use cautiously in patients with significant renal or hepatic dysfunction
  • do not discontinue use abruptly

Dosage

  • start 50 mg PO QD for 14 days, then
  • 50 mg BID for 14 days, then
  • maintenance 150-250 mg BID.
  • 25 mg QD for 2 weeks
  • maintenance 50-75 mg BID
