Indications
- diagnostic testing for achlorhydria
- diagnostic testing for pheochromocytoma
- symptomatic relief from dizziness/ vertigo
Contraindications
- severe hypertension
- hypotension
- bronchial asthma
- vasomotor instability
- urticaria
- severe cardiac, pulmonary or renal disease
Dosage
- gastric function testing:
- monitor blood pressure frequently during & immediately following administration
- dizziness: 3 drops under tongue prn
