Introduction

• Combination hepatitis A & B vaccine.

Indications

• travelers to foreign countries with a high prevalence of hepatitis A & B
• patients with chronic liver disease
• healthcare personnel
• military personnel
• IV-drug abusers

Contraindications

• previous vaccination with hepatitis A or B vaccine

Dosage

• Schedule: 3 doses at 0, 1 & 6 months
• Contains hepatitis A vaccine (inactivated) 720 EL.U & hepatitis B vaccine ( recombinant) 20 ug HBsAg/ mL
