Indications

• evaluation or screening for anemia
• evaluation or screening for polycythemia

Reference-interval

• adult male: 41.5-50.4%
• adult female: 35.9-44.6%

Specimen

• Whole blood ( EDTA).
• Stable for 24 h at 4 C.
