• homotypic fusion of late endosomes
• heterotypic fusion of late endosomes with lysosomes c lysosomal exocytosis

Structure

• presumptively SNARE core complex
• may be several different SNARE complexes including complexes containing:

• Golgi SNAREs GOSR1, GOSR2 & YKT6 & STX5
• VTI1B, STX7, STX8 & VAMP8
• STX18, USE1L, BNIP1/ SEC20L, & SEC22B

• RINT1/TIP20L & ZW10 are associated with the complex through interaction with BNIP1/ SEC20L

• STX4, SNAP23, VAMP7
• STX7, STX8, VAMP7 & VTI1B
