Introduction

* Folate       2.2 mg  2.5 mg 
* Vitamin B12  500 ug  400 ug 
* Vitamin B6    15 mg   25 mg

Indications

• treatment of folate, vitamin B12 or vitamin B6 deficiency
• treatment of hyperhomocysteinemia
• NO benefit for secondary stroke prevention [1]

Dosage

• 1 tab PO QD

Mechanism-of-action

• diminished mean serum homocysteine levels from 13.4 umo/L to 11 umol/L
