Introduction

• Tradenames: FML.

Dosage

• ophthalmic: 1 drop every 1-6 hours

• Ointment: 0.1% (3.5 g)
• Suspension: 0.1% (5 mL, 10 mL), 0.25% (5 mL, 10 mL, 15 mL)

Adverse-effects

• not common (1-10%)

• blurred vision

• uncommon (< 1%)

• stinging, burning, increased intraocular pressure, open-angle glaucoma, defect in visual acuity, decrease in field of vision, cataracts
  
• drug adverse effects of glucocorticoids
• drug adverse effects of immunosuppressive agents
