Introduction

• Tradenames: Lidex, Fluonex.

Indications

• relief of inflammation & pruritis

• Topical: cream/ointment/solution/gel 0.05%. cream/ointment/gel(15 g, 30 g, 60 g) solution (20 mL, 60 mL) High potency (0.05%). Apply BID/ QID.

Adverse-effects

• uncommon (< 1%)

• burning, itching, skin irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acne, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae, miliaria, intracranial hypertension, hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis suppression, Cushing's syndrome, growth retardation
