- Impairment of the ability to perform rapid alternating movements in opposite directions, such rapid alternating pronation & supination of the hand. Such movement of patients with cerebellar disease overshoot, undershoot or are otherwise inaccurate or irregular. Pyramidal tract disorders may also show slowing or otherwise abnormal alternating movement.
