• NADH-cytochrome b5 reductase
• role in endolasmic reticulum stress response pathway
• role in protecting pancreatic beta-cells against oxidant stress, possibly by protecting the cell from excess buildup of reactive oxygen species
• reduces a variety of substrates in vitro, including
