Introduction
- Domain of about 120 amino acid residues present in roteins that bind cyclic nucleotides ( cAMP or cGMP). There are 6 invariant amino acid residues in this domain, 3 of which are Gly thought to be essential for a distinctive 8-stranded, antiparallel beta-barrel. The domain also contains 3 alpha-helices.
