• olanzapine
• quitiapine
• citalopram

• Protocol mimics routine clinical care
• Outcomes:

• CGI, BPRS, NPI, Cornell depression
• ADLs, life quality, caregiver burden, service utilizaton
• AE, EPS, laboratory testing
• cognition

• Results:

• somewhat greater effectiveness of olanzapine counterbalanced by lower tolerability
• < 1/2 of patients were compliant with antipsychotic agent
