• Study observed higher risk of breast cancer in women who had used any antibiotic for > 500 days over 17 years. [1]

• Associated with breast cancer at all levels of use [2]
• Odds ratio 2.14 for all antibiotics > 500 days of use
• Odds ratio 2.26 for macrolide use > 100 days of use
• Risk for death with breast cancer even stronger
• Maximum odds ratio 5.75
