Introduction
- Class II antiarrhythmic agents are beta-adrenergic receptor antagonists. They exert their antiarrhythmic activity through attenuation of automaticity & re-entry arrhythmias involving the AV node. Class II agents also favorable influence arrhythmias by reducing myocardial oxygen consumption.
