Etiology
- originally found in patients with
- the antigen is also detected in B cells infected with Epstein Barr virus
Pathology
- nuclear distribution in a finely speckled pattern by immuno- fluorescence microscopy.
Clinical-significance
- anti-RANA is detected in 90% of patients with rheumatoid arthritis & in 6-25% of control subjects
