Introduction

• unequal refractive power in the two eyes; one eye may be myopic, the other hyperopic

Epidemiology

• 6% of children 6-18 years of age

Pathology

• unequal refractive states cause unequal rotations

Clinical-manifestations

• diplopia
• asthenopia

Management

• corective lenses ( spectacles)
