Introduction

• Tradename: Cyclocort.

Indications

• short term relief of inflammation & pruritis

Dosage

• Topical: 0.1% cream/ointment/lotion BID/ TID, high potency (0.1%).

• Cream: 15 & 60 g.
• Lotion: 10 & 60 mL.
• Ointment: 15 & 60 g.

Adverse-effects

• not common (1-10%)

• itching, maceration of skin, skin atrophy, erythema, dryness, papular rashes, burning, irritation

• uncommon (< 1%)

• hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, striae, miliaria
  
• drug adverse effects of glucocorticoids
• drug adverse effects of immunosuppressive agents
